Our Coaches
Brannan Fix
Brannan is from Fort Collins, CO and has been racing road, mountain bikes and cyclocross for over a decade.
I raced with Rocky and was the Varsity State Camp my junior year of high school. I then moved to Grand Junction, CO and raced for Colorado Mesa University winning a collegiate national title there.
My favorite race is the cyclocross world cup in Koksijde, Belgium. The atmosphere is amazing and I love sand CX racing. It is truly one of the most unique races in the world.
My goal as a coach is to be a positive role model as well as a trusted ear for my riders. I love coaching because I love seeing the kids excel in cycling, and seeing those skills transfer to life.
Zack Woy
Zack is from Fort Collins, CO and has been racing road, mountain, and cyclocross for 12 years.
I went to Poudre high and started racing mountain bikes in the high school league with Ciclismo. I love racing because I like to go fast and you get to push yourself.
My favorite race is Tour of America’s dairy lands in Wisconsin because it’s 10 days of fast and fun crit racing.
I love everything bike related having grown up wrenching on and racing all types of bikes and I want to help athletes build a lifelong passion for the sport.
Tami Perrin
I’m Tami Perrin, and I grew up right here in Fort Collins, CO. Outside of riding, I work as an Operating Room RN at Poudre Valley Hospital. I am married to Joe and have 3 amazing sons, and a German shepherd named Charlie.
I have spent the better part of my life chasing adventures on dirt trails and love anything that gets the adrenaline flowing! With nearly 20 years of experience racing XC, Endurance, Super D, All-Mountain Super D, and Enduro races, I’ve tackled everything from fast and flowy singletrack, to technical heart-pounding descents.
As a mountain bike coach and instructor, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my passion with riders of all ages, and all skill levels. For nearly a decade, I coached both boys, and co-ed teams at the middle school, and high school level. Prior to that, I taught clinics, and private lessons as an instructor both here in northern Colorado, and Wyoming.
My goal as a coach is to encourage and empower riders to push their limits and unlock their full potential to experience the exhilaration of accomplishment that brings!
Cole Swanson
I raced bikes for all four years of high school and graduated into coach, I have not raced since.
I attended Polaris expeditionary learning school and am currently attending CSU.
I loved racing because of the challenge of it and the overall enjoyment of pushing my body as hard as I could.
My favorite race so far was the high school race in steamboat Colorado, the downhill is the most fun out of any other race of the high school races.
My mission as a coach is to have as much fun as possible while coaching athletes. I strive to enhance as many technical skills as I can while our athletes learn and develop at practice and continue to push growth in our sport and community.
Jeremy Norris
Jeremy is from Estes Park, Colorado and has been racing bikes since 2012, mostly on the mountain bike. Jeremy is team owner and pro racer on HART Cycling.
I raced for Estes Park High School and was their first ever Varsity racer. I also raced for BJC/7-11 those years and jumped straight to being an assistant coach after graduating from their program. I then went to Adams State University where I started really racing road bikes before transferring to CU Boulder where I landed on the podium at Collegiate MTB National Championships.
My favorite race so far is the mountain bike world cup in Mont Sainte Anne, Canada. The course is the best kind of gnarly roots, rocks, steep climbs, steeper descents, it challenges every aspect of being a bike racer to an extreme.
My goal as a coach is to pass on my love for the outdoors, cycling, and racing and to help kids find a sport they can use to support their physical and mental health for the rest of their lives. I love seeing the progress in an athlete's skill, fitness, and confidence after each season of riding bikes with their friends!
Shane Corbin
Shane is from Bloomington, IN and has been racing bikes for 25 years.
I attended HS in Portales NM and college in Murfressboro, TN. I love racing because it drives me to be a better rider and motivates me to stay fit.
My favorite race has been the Cross Florida Individual Time Trail because it taught me that we are more capable than we think we are.
My mission statement as a coach is to help develop a lifelong love of cycling by growing skills with positive encouragement, clear feedback and supportive teamwork.
Shawn Pollock
Shawn is from Bozeman and Billings, MT and graduated from Montana State.
I’ve been riding for almost 30 years and love it for the challenge (both technical and endurance), stress relief (it’s a life saver), adrenaline rush and adventure. While I’ve done little ‘bike racing’ I used to do a lot of adventure racing and love big, long mentally challenging suffer fests … I look forward to getting my first bike-packing trip(s) in this summer.
I don’t have a favorite bike race but my favorite race would have been the Wild Wonderful AR in West Virginia … ~32 hours of navigating the backwoods of Appalachia via map and compass with 4 friends (without sleeping).
And I can’t pick a favorite place to ride … Fruita, Winter Park, Gowdy, Salida, Crested Butte, Big Sky … they’re all great and all have their special qualities.
I love coaching for several reasons … it’s a great opportunity for kids not interested in traditional sports and I know how important sports were to me when growing up, I’ve seen how my boys have matured through their involvement in Ciclismo, and it’s a lifetime activity … teach a kid to love riding and develop a bit of passion and they have decades of opportunity in front of them, even if they push it aside for a while.
